How is this different from Toptal or Andela?

Toptal's vetting is broad — they place from 100+ countries with English as a second hurdle. Andela has scaled into a marketplace model where you mostly source yourself. We're a focused boutique: founders interview every senior we place, we work primarily with LatAm talent we know personally or have referrals for, and our pricing reflects no public-company overhead. Lower cost, higher signal per candidate.

What happens if the engineer doesn't work out?

You give us 30 days notice and we replace them, or you cancel — no claw-back. Replacement candidates are pre-screened against your role spec and we present them within 7 days. We absorb the lost-week cost, not you.

Can the engineer work directly in our codebase?

Yes. They're integrated like any remote employee: your repos, your CI/CD, your Slack, your standups. We don't insert ourselves between you and the engineer. You evaluate their commits, you decide their roadmap, you give them direct feedback.

What about IP and NDA?

Every contract includes a clean IP assignment clause: anything the engineer produces while engaged with you is yours, fully and exclusively. NDAs available before the first technical conversation. We never reuse code, designs, or proprietary data from one client on another.

Do you offer team placements (squads)?

Yes — we can place pre-formed squads (e.g. 1 tech lead + 2 senior engineers + 1 DevOps) for clients who don't want to manage individual hires. Talk to us about Squad-as-a-Service pricing on a clarity call.

How do you handle taxes and compliance for the engineers?

Our Venezuelan entity holds the engineer contracts, runs payroll in USD, and handles all local labor and tax compliance. You receive a single monthly invoice from our US Delaware entity — clean for your accounting and audit.
