How fast can you start?
For Hiring as a Service, we surface vetted senior candidates within 14 days from the first call. For project work (Custom Dev, AI, Design Systems), kickoff is typically 1-2 weeks after the contract is signed — we don't keep clients waiting.
Where are your engineers based?
Primarily Venezuela, with senior contributors across Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Spain. We adapt working hours to each client — whether US (PST / EST), Spain (CET) or anywhere in LatAm. We agree the working window upfront so the engineer overlaps your standup, slack and reviews. Native or near-native English; technical interviews and cultural fit screening done in English.
How do you vet engineers?
Three-stage process: (1) hard-skill screen with live coding in our stack, (2) systems-design or architecture conversation, (3) communication & ownership signal interview. Less than 5% of candidates pass. We also run paid 2-week probation before placing into a client team.
Who owns the IP we build together?
You do — fully and exclusively. Every contract includes a clean IP assignment clause. We never reuse client code, designs or proprietary data on other engagements. NDAs available before the first technical conversation if needed.
Can we start with a smaller engagement before committing?
Yes. For HaaS we recommend a single engineer for one quarter before scaling. For project work we offer a paid 1-week discovery sprint that produces a defendable plan you keep, regardless of whether you continue with us.
What's the cancellation policy on HaaS retainers?
Month-to-month. 30 days written notice cancels any HaaS engagement, no penalties or claw-backs. We earn the next month with the previous one.
Do you handle taxes, compliance and payroll for the engineers?
Yes — fully. Our entity holds all engineer contracts, runs payroll, handles local tax and labor compliance, and absorbs the operational risk. You receive a single monthly invoice in USD against a US Delaware entity for clean accounting.
