This Privacy Policy describes how Softronic ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit softronic.dev or engage our services. By using the site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect minimal data and only what is needed to operate the site and serve you:

  • Information you provide — when you book a clarity call via Calendly, send us an email, or submit a form, we receive your name, email, and any details you choose to share.
  • Usage analytics — we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. Aggregated metrics include pages viewed, referrer, country (derived from IP, not stored), and device type.
  • Server logs — our hosting layer (Caddy + Cloudflare) records standard access logs (IP, user-agent, request path, timestamp) for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

2. Cookies

The base site does not set cookies. We may, with your prior consent (via the cookie banner), set cookies for:

  • Marketing tags (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads) — only if you click "Accept" on the banner.
  • Local preferences (theme, language) — these are localStorage entries, not cookies.

  • Reply to your inquiries and schedule calls.
  • Deliver services we agree to in a Master Services Agreement.
  • Improve our website by reviewing aggregate analytics.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Email correspondence and contracts are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years after termination for tax, audit and legal purposes. Server logs: 30 days. Plausible analytics: aggregated, no personal data.

6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Regardless of where you live, you can:

  • Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your data.
  • Opt out of any future communications.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis).

We use TLS encryption in transit, strict Content Security Policy headers, X-Frame-Options, HSTS preload, and least-privilege access for internal tooling. No system is bulletproof; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you within 72 hours where required by law.

8. International transfers

Softronic operates from Venezuela with US Delaware billing entity. By contacting us you understand your data may be processed in those jurisdictions. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU/UK transfers.

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
